- Lead core accounting processes across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with US GAAP standards.
- Own the preparation and review of consolidated financial statements across the Muse Group portfolio.
- Collaborate with cross-functional global teams to align on financial data, forecasting, and strategic planning.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation and submission of tax returns, VAT filings, payroll, and other statutory requirements.
- Support and manage financial audits, acting as the primary point of contact for external auditors and internal stakeholders.
- Utilize advanced Excel and financial software skills to deliver detailed analyses and actionable insights.
- Create investor-ready financial reports and dashboards to showcase company performance and financial health.
- Drive continuous improvement of accounting processes, policies, and controls.
- Take ownership of financial systems optimization and implementation projects, improving automation and scalability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s or ACCA/CPA a plus).
- Solid experience in accounting roles, preferably in fast-moving, international environments.
- Deep understanding of US GAAP and statutory compliance frameworks.
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills (pivot tables, macros, financial modeling).
- Experience preparing consolidated financial statements and leading audits.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial data for non-finance stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented mindset with high standards for accuracy and integrity.
- Adaptability and initiative in evolving, startup-like environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in global or distributed teams.
- Exposure to financial systems implementation and automation tools (NetSuite, SAP, etc.).
- Demonstrated leadership experience — formally or informally managing people or projects.
- Passion for music or creativity-led products is a plus!
